A junior volleyball camp for students in 4th-6th grades next school year is being held this week, from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. each day in the Rosemary Clarke Middle School gym.

The camp for grades 6-8 will be Aug. 25-28, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the gym.

Tryouts for the 2008 team will be Sept. 2-4, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the gym.

Another camp for 7th and 8th graders may be held in June. Call 727-7737 for information.

Pop Warner

Pop Warner football registration forms for players 5 to 12 years old can be picked up, then completed, at Worden's Farmers Insurance, 2210 E. Commercial Road, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.

The cost is $180; applicants must bring a copy of their child's birth certificate to register.

Practice starts Aug. 1, with eight games to be played.

Basketball

Advantage Basketball camps is now accepting registration for summer break camp at the Tarkanian Basketball Academy in Las Vegas.

Roller hockey

At the Skate Zone, Roller Hockey League results were Warriors 15, Sabres 4, Rat Pack 13, Kings 1 and Penguins 7, Kings 4.

Dylan Driggers scored six goals, Billy Roche added five and Austin Eyserbeck had three for the Warriors. A.J. Belluemini had two for the Sabres.

John Grieco and Justin Ellison netted four goals each, with Mark Sawyer adding three and Joel Oscarson two for the Pack.

Mundo Veloz scored three goals, with Micah Deany and Brad Schaeffer adding two each for the Penguins. Isaac Parsonn had two goals for the Kings.
