PHOTOS Shooting range cleanup
MARK WAITE / PVT Walt Rubio, front, helps other volunteers clean up debris at the shooting range off Bell Vista Avenue Saturday morning. Volunteers filled three dumpsters full of garbage while the popping sound of rounds fired by shooting enthusiasts could be heard nearby. Pahrump Valley Disposal helped with the cleanup along with Nye County Commissioners Gary Hollis and Peter Liakopoulos and candidate Jim Petell.
