The Pahrump American Legion boys played a twin bill at Rivera Park against Shadow Ridge Saturday.

Pahrump has had their fair share of extra-inning matchups and this was no different.

John McHugh hit a two-run homer to tie the game in the 5th inning and Brandon Uyeno pitched an excellent game to keep it tied.

Unfortunately Shadow Ridge power hitters finally came through and took the lead in the top of the 8th inning.

Pahrump lost the first game 6-5.

In the second game, with no wins on the road, Pahrump was looking for some final redemption, and they got it.

With Daniel Miller on the mound, Pahrump defeated Shadow Ridge 10-6 to get a road win under their belt.

The team's record stands at nine wins, nine losses.

Their last games are being played at 5 and 8 p.m. Saturday, against Western.
