Dax Duesing pitched an excellent game Wednesday night, striking out seven batters as the Pahrump Legion beat Chaparral 7-1.

In the second game, Brandon Uyeno pitched a no-hitter until the fourth inning, when Michael Gonzalez came on to defeat Chaparral 6-3 in a suddenly shortened game.

After six innings, the lights were unexpectedly turned off at 10 p.m., but Pahrump had already won the contest.

Saturday, Legacy began the day by clobbering Pahrump 13-3. Costly errors led to the loss.

Duesing pitched four innings, followed by Cody Neilsen.

Up 2-0 in the fourth inning of the second game, with Brandon Uyeno pitching, Legacy suddenly fired back with four runs. Ethan Ewald struck a two-run homer, but that wasn't enough as Legacy won 6-2.
