DVR to take summer off; return slated for September

AMARGOSA VALLEY -- Second generation racer Anthony DeBiase of Pahrump scored his third super stock victory of the season to highlight action at Death Valley Raceway Saturday.

DeBiase finished ahead of Billy Weaver, Dan Snowden and Dale Daffern.

Other winners include Michael Lysinger (mini stocks), Randall Boren (classic coupes), Richard Gast (mod minis); Troy Seymore (Dwarfs); Dan Fitzgerald (modifieds) and Billy Grasso (bombers).

Death Valley Raceway, a third-mile dirt track situated south of Highway 373 between Lathrop Wells and Death Valley, will return to action Sept. 6 following a summer break.
