PHOTOS SOFTBALL TEAMS IN PLAYOFFS
CHARLOTTE UYENO / SPECIAL TO THE PVT Pahrump Valley's girls' fast-pitch softball teams are awaiting the conclusion of the Northern Nevada playoffs, with the possibility of the third week in July being the starting date for the state tournament. Reno, Elko, Lincoln County and Winnemucca are in the North playoffs. Pahrump teams are seeking financial help; call 751-3881 or 751-7624 for information on how you can contribute. Look for car washes, bake sales and other fundraising events. Pahrump's Major Division All-Stars, above, are Whitney Roderick, Coach Kaiwi, Audrey MacRae, Kiana Arms, Justine Pollard, manager Roderick, Taylor Burby, Kellie Murphy, Kristal Kaiwi, Patricia Grey and not pictured Madison Hurley, Vanessa Ruiz and Sara Zinnicker.
