SPECIAL TO THE PVT Elias Armendariz will be among the Pahrump Valley wrestlers competing at home at 3 p.m. today in Southern Nevada Class 3-A League duals. Las Vegas Faith Lutheran and Overton Moapa Valley are the opponents for the Trojans, 27-3 in all duals and 6-0 in the league. The Trojans will host the Southern regionals Saturday, starting at 11 a.m. in the main gym. Today, the PVHS wrestling team will conduct a raffle, with more than 50 gifts available to winning ticket holders. Tickets cost $1 each. The goal was to sell 700 tickets; if that is accomplished, Wal-Mart will match the $700. A preview on the regionals will appear in the Friday Times.
