Connie Jean Winterton-VanCleef

Connie Jean Winterton-VanCleef, 41, passed away Dec. 31, 2007 at her home in Fallon where she, her fiance and her daughter had just begun a new life.

She was born June 7, 1966 in Salt Lake City, Utah and was a resident of Pahrump for one year, having come from Las Vegas.

She spent 23 years as a homemaker and a loving mother to her children. She was proud to call taking care of her family her career.

Family was of the utmost importance to her and family was not just made up of her relations but also her friends.

Those fortunate enough to know her instantly bonded to her sincerity.

As a daughter, she went above the call of duty to bring the family and Christmas to her mother in Wyoming for one of the "best Christmases ever."

She was the baby, yet you would think she was the mother. It was Connie who made sure the family stayed close. Holidays were especially important to her, and most family gatherings and celebrations took place at her home.

We thank God for the time we had with her, and especially for the unconditional love she gave. She was amazing with her endurance and it will be hard to live our lives without her in it.

Everyone will miss the beautiful, precious "baby sister" and the pain of her absence is beyond belief.

Each of those who knew her has their own memory to carry with them everyday until we see her smile again.

Her fiance Thomas Warbarton of Fallon; father of her children Michael VanCleef of Las Vegas; children Michael Jr. and Tory of Las Vegas and Jessica VanCleef and Tawnie Hanoum of Pahrump; father Russell Winterton; mother Irene Winterton; brother Russell Troy Winterton; sister Sharie Winn; niece Amber Lewis; great-nieces Leann, Marissa and Kaylynn; great-nephew Lucas; grandfather Louis Christian and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins survive her.

Services will be held 3 p.m., Feb. 2 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at the corner of Wilson Road and West Street.

In lieu of flowers donations for the support of the children may be made to the family at 301 My Way, Pahrump, NV 89060. (12/31/2007)
