Yerington swept a Northern Nevada Class 3-A League basketball doubleheader from Incline Wednesday.

The Lion girls prevailed 53-30, while the Yerington boys survived a 53-49 thriller with the Highlanders.

In other NNL 3-A boys games, it was Dayton 57, Truckee, Calif., 44 and Sparks 63, Winnemucca Lowry 48.

Truckee, a week after beating Spring Creek in a key girls' game, handed Dayton its second league loss, 54-45.
