Vesta Graves

Vesta Graves, 69, passed away Jan. 7, 2008 in Las Vegas.

She was born Dec. 24, 1938 in Ely and was a resident of Pahrump for 15 years.

She was a seamstress and made custom drapes.

Her son David Hines and daughter Loretta Hines, both of Pahrump; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren survive her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

Services will be at 3 p.m., Jan. 21, 631 Irene Street. (01/07/2008)

Ann Rushford

Ann Rushford, 99, passed away Jan. 13, 2008 in Pahrump.

She was born Aug. 3, 1908 and was a four year resident of Pahrump, having come from Visalia, Calif.

She loved reading and crocheting afghans. She was a seamstress.

Her daughters Dollie (Glendon) Jackson and Jean Essley; son Irvin Ledford; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren survive her.

Lee Dora Williams

Lee Dora Williams, 84, passed away Jan. 10, 2008 in Pahrump.

She was born March 27, 1923 in Mississippi and was a three year resident of Pahrump, having come from Detroit, Mich.

Lee Dora was of the Catholic faith and was honored to be invited to Rome when St. Martin was canonized, and where she also met the Pope.

Her daughter Rhonda Robinson of Pahrump and grandsons Michael, Martin and Mitchell Robinson all of Pahrump, survive her.

Services will be 9:30 a.m., Jan. 25, at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. (01/10/2008)

Elsie Dougherty

Elise Dougherty, 80, passed away Jan. 13, 2008 in Las Vegas.

She was born Nov. 16, 1927 in Nebraska and was an 18 year resident of Pahrump, having come from Nebraska.

She was a lover of all animals and loved taking care of dogs and finding them good homes. She owned her own animal rescue shelter.

Her son Terry Dougherty and friend Dana of Pahrump; daughter Karen (Kenny) Edwards of Nebraska; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; cousin Lorraine Lisle and many loving friends survive her.

Memorial services will be held at 12 noon, Friday, Jan. 18, at Lee Funeral Home Chapel, 720 Buol Lane.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to West Star Animal Rescue in Pahrump. (01/13/2008)
