Susan M. Bray

Susan M. Bray, 50, passed away Dec. 31, 2007 at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas.

She was born May 15, 1957 in Yuma, Ariz., and was a seven year resident of Pahrump.

Susan worked as a juvenile probation officer for Nye County.

Her husband Robert; son Christopher and daughter Melissa, all of Pahrump, survive her.

Services will be held at 11 a.m., Jan. 12 at the Calvary Chapel, 1051 E. Mickey (off of Pahrump Valley Boulevard). (12/31/2007)

Gilbert Durwood Woodworth III

Gilbert Durwood Woodworth III, 22, passed away Jan. 7, 2008 in Las Vegas.

He was born April 30, 1985 in San Bernadino, Calif., and was a seven year resident of Pahrump, having come from California.

His father and mother, Bill and Sandy Smith of Pahrump; grandmother Norma Smith of Texas; grandfather William Smith of Pahrump; sister Debbie Woodworth of Pahrump; brothers David and Aaron Helmick of Ohio and Billy M. (Sandra) Smith of California; aunt Lonnie Chesser of Pahrump; uncle Thomas Pearson of Pahrump; aunt and uncle, Dale and Rosie Helphy of California and numerous aunts and uncles and friends survive him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Short of California.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.

Garland McClure Adams

Garland McClure Adams, 71, passed away Jan. 7, 2008 in Pahrump.

He was born April, 14, 1936 and was a three year resident of Pahrump, having come from Cotati, Calif.

He was a real estate broker, an Army veteran and of the Christian faith.

Garland was an avid aviation enthusiast and pilot of light aircraft. He was a member of the Experimental Aviation Association and his hobby was auto mechanics.

He loved to talk to people, whether he knew them or not, loved learning new things and loved animals.

He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and loved his family very much.

His wife Patricia A. Adams of Pahrump; daughters Susan Lyn Adams of Battleground, Wash. and Lisa Marie Collins of Rosamond, Calif.; sons Brian Douglas Adams of Mukwonago, Wis. and James Martin Adams of Vancouver, Wash.; grandchildren Genevive L. Collins, Steven E. Collins, Joshua R. Adams, Ashley M. Adams, Tess N. Adams, Jack H. Adams, Caleb J. Adams, Jonathan M. Adams, Hanahjoy Adams; a sister-in-law; an aunt and many cousins survive him.

Lee Funeral Home and Cremation Service handled the arrangements. (01/07/2008)

Kathleen Clancy

Kathleen Clancy, 59, passed away Jan. 6, 2008 in Las Vegas.

She was born Aug. 24, 1948 in Port Jefferson, N.Y. and was a four year resident of Pahrump, having come from California.

She was employed by Wal-Mart, graduated from 12 years of school and was of the Catholic faith.

Her husband James Clancy of Pahrump; sons Andrew (Angela), of Germany and Bryan, of Pahrump; daughter Jennifer (Daniel), of Elko; sisters Francis (Robert) Coupe, of New York, Linda (William) Burlison, of Tennessee, Judith Ann Murray of Florida and Anita (Andrew) Balistreri of New York, and grandchildren Tyler, Emily, Lillyann, Kayla, Ryan and Emma survive her.

She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Loreta Truglio.

The service is private.
