The sheriff's office spent New Year's Eve making travel a little safer with a saturation patrol between 8 p.m. and 2 a.m.

The resulting citations and warnings issued indicate the deputies were kept busy.

For basic speeding, 15 adults and one juvenile were pulled over.

One person had a warrant which was subsequently executed.

Eight people failed to show proof of insurance.

For other violations, which include matters like regular violations, equipment violations, turn signals, etc., 13 adults and one juvenile were cited.

For 12 adults and one juvenile, the flashing lights in the mirror resulted only in a warning.
