Casey Crisp

Casey Crisp, 38, passed away in her home Dec. 18, 2007.

She was born Jan. 10, 1969 in Springfield, Ill.

Casey's passion and way of life revolved around horses. When miniature horses were mentioned, Casey Crisp's name was sure to follow.

A member of the Silver State Miniature Horse Club and P.O.S.S., everyone in the horse world understood and respected the love, time and efforts Casey contributed to the industry. Her passion is what brought her to Pahrump 10 years ago.

She is survived by Noah "Bean", her son who is her pride and joy; fiancé Joseph Pelaez; mother Sandy Batongbacal, grandmother Thealene Ratz; sister Cortney Crisp; brother Cameron (Tammy) Batongbacal; brother Cody Batongbacal of Hawaii; "auntie" Candace (James) Dwyer of Kentucky; uncle Richard (Sandy) Mason of Las Vegas; four nephews and one niece.

All who had the privilege of knowing Casey would agree that she filled our hearts with strength, courage and everlasting memories.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather George R. Ratz. "You will truly be missed and never forgotten, Case. Lean like a cholo girl!" (12/18/07)
