"May peace prevail on earth and also at RCMS" was the message given out as the Rosemary Clarke Middle School dedicated its peace pole shortly before Christmas. The pole, whose message was sent abroad by student, staff and administration, is a permanent reminder of the school's perception of the importance of character evaluation and anti-bullying.

During the ceremony, the message was not only read out in English, it was also put into German, Chinese, Tagalog, Russian, Spanish and signing.

The same message is inscribed on the pole itself in 16 different languages.
