Hunting and fishing licenses for the 2008 license year expire today, but outdoor enthusiasts don't have to wait until March to buy their new licenses.

As of Feb. 11, licenses for the 2009 license year became available at Nevada Department of Wildlife offices, sporting goods stores and other vendors statewide.

They can also be purchased online at www.ndow.org.

Fishing regulations for the new license year are also available at many of the same locations.
