Schedule limited for Beatty teams

BEATTY -- Spring sports return to Beatty High School's extracurricular activities schedule March 6, when the Hornet baseball team plays at Henderson International School.

On March 10, the fast-pitch softball team opens at home against Virgin Valley at 1 p.m.

All doubleheaders start at 1 p.m. for the Hornets, who are playing a limited schedule this spring, if the schedule is accurate.

Hornet teams will be at home against Class 3-A Mesquite Virgin Valley March 10, before they travel to the home of the Bulldogs to play in the Mesquite Invitational March 13-14-15. Pairings and times will be announced.

Remaining games in both baseball and fast-pitch softball are:

March 21, at Round Mountain, 1 p.m. (2);

March 25, at Virgin Valley, 1 p.m. (2);

March 31, at Trona, Calif., 3:15 p.m.;

April 4, vs. Tonopah, 1 p.m. (2);

April 8, vs. Sandy Valley, 3 p.m.

April 11, vs. Pahranagat Valley Alamo, 1 p.m. (2);

April 18, vs. Spring Mountain, 1 p.m. (2) (baseball only);

April 22, at Sandy Valley (softball only), 3 p.m.

April 25, at Indian Springs, 1 p.m. (2);

May 9-10, Southern Class A regionals.

May 16-17, State 1-A tournament.
