Summer play

Information sheets on 2008 Summer League bowling at the Nugget are available in the center.

There are 16 planned leagues, with the earliest starting March 29 (Saturday Juniors, Saturday Teens) and the latest June 18 (Summer Kids).

Tournaments

Jan Johnston and Don Woods won a Pahrump Valley 500 Club doubles tournament Saturday at the Nugget.

Their scored was 1,555. Kasey Murphy won the side pot with 761, while Woods had 816 for the groupie side pot.

The club's next tournament is March 22 and will be singles.

The Pahrump Valley Tournament Bowling Club will hold a Scotch doubles event Feb. 23. It will be a handicap tournament open to active club members only.

Mary and Don McGuire are the sponsors for this tournament, which will have squads at 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.
