Nye County Sheriff's Office general assignment detectives have recently discovered new information and evidence regarding the disappearance of Maureen Fields, 41, of Pahrump.

That information, however, has not been released by law enforcement officials.

Fields, known as a reliable employee of Wells Fargo Bank, failed to show up for work two years ago today.

She was last seen the day before by co-workers, when she left the office to go home.

Her husband, Paul Fields, said he last saw her the morning of Feb. 15, when she left for work after an argument, and no one has seen her since, a sheriff's office press release states.

Her vehicle was found in California a short distance from Pahrump Feb. 16.

According to the sheriff's office, Paul Fields "is refusing to cooperate with the investigation since he retained an attorney shortly after Maureen went missing."

The Nye County Sheriff's Office thanks those witnesses who have come forward with information that assisted in the discovery of new evidence.

Detectives are reportedly speaking with other individuals who have come forward and believe more information will be obtained.
