MARK WAITE / PVT County crews have been busy putting fresh striping down on Pahrump streets lately, like this job on Dandelion Street near Honeysuckle Park. Nye County commissioners approved purchasing the $52,973 paint-striping machine last May. Work was then delayed while the county waited to piggy-back on a state contract to purchase the paint, Nye County Road Foreman Dave Fanning said. As the crew stripes local thoroughfares through Pahrump Valley, motorists should know clearly on which side of the street they should drive.
