The penultimate Pahrump Valley Times Nevada High School basketball ratings have:

Las Vegas Bishop Gorman's boys (24-3) and girls (23-4) ranked No. 1 in Class 4-A;

Las Vegas Faith Lutheran's boys (18-8) and Dayton's girls (16-2) topping the 3-A lists;

Pershing County Lovelock's boys (18-4) and Needles, Calif.'s girls (24-3) pacing Class 2-A and

Lake Mead Christian Academy's boys (27-1) and Pahranagat Valley Alamo's girls (20-5) leading 1-A.

The final ratings will be published in the Wednesday edition of the Times. Some regional tournaments will already be underway when those lists appear.

Nye County has three teams ranked: Pahrump Valley's boys No. 5 and the Lady Trojans No. 2 in Class 3-A, and Round Mountain's Lady Knights No. 7 in 1-A.

This is the next-to-last regular-season Pahrump Valley Times Nevada High School Basketball ratings, with the final lists to be published Wednesday, during the week when regional tournaments will be played. The ratings are based on games played through Feb. 2.
