Overton Moapa Valley at Pahrump Valley and Boulder City at Mesquite Virgin Valley will decide the Nos. 2, 3 and 4 seeds for the boys' Southern Nevada Class 3-A Regional Basketball tournament.

Those games tonight complete the regular season for those four teams. Las Vegas Faith Lutheran, assured of the No. 1 seed, completed its league campaign at 7-1 after a come-from-behind 54-47 conquest of Moapa Valley Tuesday night.

The regionals are Feb. 14 and 16 at Del Sol High School in Las Vegas.

The Trojans, already assured of no less than a No. 3 seed, could move to No. 2 with a win against Moapa Valley. A Pirates win will deadlock the teams at 4-4 in the league and give the Pirates the No. 2 seed since they would have won the second game of the series. PVHS won 59-58 in overtime at Overton earlier this month.

The Virgin Valley-Boulder City winner tonight will earn the No. 4 seed. Both are 2-5 in the league.

The tentative pairings are No. 1 Faith Lutheran (19-8) vs. No. 4 Virgin Valley (13-13) or Boulder City (8-18) at 8 p.m. and Pahrump Valley (17-12) vs. Moapa Valley (11-14) at 4:40 p.m., Feb. 14.

The title game is at 8:20 p.m. Feb. 16, with the winner advancing to the state tournament Feb. 22-23 in Reno.

Pahrump Valley is coming off a 60-53 overtime win against homestanding Boulder City. The Eagles had defeated Faith Lutheran 50-47 four days earlier, handing the Crusaders just their second loss to a 3-A rival in five years.

A Dolly steal and layup off the opening possession in overtime gave the Trojans a lead and some badly needed momentum.

The lead was extended to 57-53 with 43.9 seconds left. Following a missed 3-point shot by the Eagles, the Trojans were able to convert three of four free throws down the stretch to secure the victory.

Shawn Johnson lead a balanced attack with 13 points, followed by 12 points each for Marvin Weekly and Alex Anderson. Dolly added 11 points for the Trojans.
