ONLY CAPITAL REQUEST: Great Basin seeks campus site
Officials from Great Basin College will be scouting out property in the Pahrump area in the next couple weeks, searching for a site for a new college building that will be their only capital funding request in the next state legislative session.

PVHS boys seek No. 2 South seed
Overton Moapa Valley at Pahrump Valley and Boulder City at Mesquite Virgin Valley will decide the Nos. 2, 3 and 4 seeds for the boys' Southern Nevada Class 3-A Regional Basketball tournament.
