Town Board approves advisory boards
The Pahrump Town Board approved the memberships of the town's 18 advisory boards and committees. The item had been tabled at the last regular meeting due to inconsistencies in the list.

Pahrump volunteers named for the Point of Light award
The Nye Communities Coalition Youth Organization is a finalist in the nominations for the Nevada Youth Award, and Cathy Girard is a finalist among the individuals in rural areas for the Governor's Point of Light award.
