The Pahrump KOPS (Keep Off Pounds Sensibly) Honor Society recently hosted the fourth annual Toys for Tots event at the First Southern Baptist Church of Pahrump and attended by 55 members of TOPS Club International (Take Off Pounds Sensibly).

The members attending were representative of the three Pahrump chapters, and officers and four members of a visiting Las Vegas chapter.

A vast array of toys and gifts donated by organization members were presented to Marine Corps League Commandant Donald Czerwinski and Dorothy Ryan, coordinator of the local Toys for Tots Program.

In addition to toys and gifts, members brought a mountain of non-perishable food to stock the church food bank in preparation for the holiday season.

The day's activities included music, a nutritional information program and presentation of awards to members who completed weight challenge.
