Beatty's Class A Hornets will play the host team, the Pahrump Valley Junior Varsity, in the first match of the Lady Trojans Volleyball Invitational tournament at 2 p.m. today in the high school gym.

Round Mountain, another Nye County 1-A team, will play at 3 p.m. against Laughlin.

Today's schedule (matches are on two PVHS courts):

2 p.m. -- Pahrump Valley JVs vs. Beatty; Henderson International School vs. Pahranagat Valley Alamo.

3 p.m. -- Las Vegas Calvary Chapel vs. Lake Mead Christian Academy; Round Mountain vs. Laughlin.

4 p.m. -- Lake Mead vs. PVHS; Laughlin vs.Henderson.

5 p.m. -- Beatty vs. Calvary Chapel; Alamo vs. Round Mountain.

6 p.m. -- Lake Mead vs. Beatty; Henderson vs. Round Mountain.

7 p.m. -- PVHS vs. Calvary; Laughlin vs. Alamo.

Saturday

Bracket matches at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m.,12:15 p.m., 1:15 p.m., 2:15 p.m. Championship match at 3:15 p.m. if necessary.

All matches will be best-of-three, with 25-point rally scoring.
