The Rising Star Equestrian Association has been hosting a series of events all summer long for young horse riders and their families.

Riding events are open to the public, and anyone who owns a horse is welcome to participate.

If you are a member of the Rising Star Equestrian Association the fee is only $10, otherwise you will have to pay $15 to join.

Each fee will cover an entire day of four different riding events appealing to all equestrians, from children to seniors.

Some of the events offered are: educational clinics, O-Mok-Sees, and barrel races. Different types of trail rides are also available including charity and educational.

Of course, rides for simple enjoyment are also available.

This O-Mok-See event, which began in June, is taking place year-long in Pahrump. The next scheduled event will take place Sept. 6 at 6 p.m. in the McCullough Arena.
