Body found, murder charge filed
A young man's body was found at the end of a dusty road in Pahrump last week. Several days later the suspect in the case reportedly confessed and is up on charges.

Switzerland next on nuclear waste foreign tour
Nye County will pay $20,000 to send four members of a fact-finding mission on a study of geologic nuclear waste repository programs in Switzerland, including lame duck Commissioner Roberta "Midge" Carver, whose term expires in January.
