WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- In Little League World Series baseball games here Monday, Millcreek, Mich., defeated Hagerstown, Md., 15-5; Matamoros, Venezuela, blanked Yona, Guam, 10-0; Waipahu, Hawaii, edged Rapid City, S.D., 6-4; Willemsted, Curacao run-ruled Emilla, Italy, 14-4, and Tampa, Fla., stopped Shelton, Conn., 8-2.

In games played through Monday, the standings were:

Pool A United States -- Lake Charles, La., 2-0; Hagerstown 1-1, Mill Creek 1-1, Jeffersonville, Ind., 0-2.

Pool B United States -- Waipahu 3-0, Tampa 2-1, Shelton 1-2, Rapid City 0-3.

Pool C International -- Matamoros 3-0, Willemsted 1-1, Yona 1-1, Italy 0-3.

Pool D International -- Tokyo 2-0, Maracaibo 2-0, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia 0-2, White Rock, B.C., Canada, 0-2.

The tournament runs through Sunday. Games are being televised on ESPN and ESPN2.

Willemstad, Curacao, won the Junior Division Little League World Series championship Saturday, defeating Hilo (Hawaii) 8-2 in the title game at Taylor, Mich.

Upper Deerfield, N.J. won the Senior Division Little League World Series title Saturday, outscoring Willemstad 10-8 in the finals, at Bangor, Maine. Pearl City, Hawaii, the West champion, did not qualify for the semifinals.

South Carolina edged Puerto Rico 5-4 for the Big League World Series championship, at Easley, S.C.

California, the West champion, lost 8-6 to South Carolina in the semifinals.
