Sandra K. Pergin

Sandra K. Pergin, 64, passed away Aug. 15, 2008, in Pahrump.

She was born Feb. 10, 1944, in Huntsville, Texas and was a resident of Pahrump for five years, having come from Riverside, Calif.

She retired from sales in 2002, had a 14-year education and was of the Christian faith.

She was a member of the Elks, the Red Hats and the Beta Xi chapter of Beta Sigma Phi.

Her daughters Gina (Mario) Ibarra and Georgeanna (Duane) Flory, both of California; mother Velda (Larry) Pakalns of Nevada; grandchildren Brandon, Blake and Mitchell of California, Mario II, Jorgina and Jamie of Ibarra, Calif., and Jake Flory of California, and best friend Lori Hartwell of Pahrump survive her.

She was preceded in death by her father, O'Connor Gates.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon, Aug. 22, followed by the service, noon-1 p.m. at Pahrump Family Mortuary.

Jeannett Ellen Bertoch

Jeannett Ellen Bertoch, 58, passed away Aug. 12, 2008, in Las Vegas.

She was born Nov. 29, 1949, in Alamosa, Colo., and was a resident of Pahrump for 13 yers, having come from Las Vegas.

She was employed as an executive secretary.

Her passions were her plants and gardening.

She was a selfless, kind, loving, generous woman who was adored by all who knew her.

She was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and recently became a widow when the love of her life for 42 years, Patrick J. Bertoch Sr. passed away.

She will be greatly missed by all the people whose lives she touched.

Jeannett is survived by sons Patrick J. (Genie) Bertoch Jr. and David "Pokey" Fox; daughter Antoinnette (Robert) Hall; grandchildren Dustin Bertoch and Mindy Gagnon; great-grandchild Destiny Gagnon; brother Tim Turnbull and sister Molly Rich. (08/12/2008)
