Jim Petell, candidate for Nye County Commission District 2, raised $3,618 toward his campaign.

The candidate's contributors included Valma Von Holt ($1,000), Smart's Auto Salvage ($100), Charles Bailey ($100) and Gary and Maureen Budahl ($1,000).

Petell also contributed $1,697 to his own campaign.

The amount was incorrectly reported in the Aug. 8 edition of the Pahrump Valley Times.

The paper regrets the error.
