Pusch Ridge of Oro Valley, Ariz., defeated European champion Windmills Den Bosch (Netherlands) 14-0 Monday in the second round of the Little League Junior Division Softball World Series at Kirkland, Wash.

Pusch Ridge won the West Regional Aug. 6 title to advance to the World Series. Pahrump Valley played in the West regional in its first season as a Little League team.

In first-round games played Sunday, Pusch Ridge defeated East champion Greensburg, Pa., West Point, 4-2, while Latin America representative Maunabo, Puerto Rico edged Kirkland 5-4 and South champion Tampa. Fla., Palma Ceia, 13-2.

The pool tournament runs through Thursday. Bracket games will be played Friday, with the championship game at 4 p.m. Saturday. The game will be televised on ESPN-U, with a replay slated Aug. 28 at 2 p.m. on ESPN-2.
