William E. Maxwell Jr.

William E. Maxwell Jr., 79, passed away Aug. 3, 2008, in Pahrump.

He was born Jan. 14, 1929, in Akron, Colo., and was a resident of Parhump for 11 years, coming from Hawaii.

He was a Jehovah's Witness and served in the U.S. Navy.

His wife Louise of Pahrump; daughters Sharon (Bill) Coburn of Kansas and Adele (Roger) Caponi of California; sons Tom (Kim) of Nebraska and Howard (Suzie) of Kansas; sister Joanne Gower of Colorado, a stepson and two step-daughters; seven step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a spiritual family of millions survive him.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Stephanie.

There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. Aug. 16, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, corner of Thousandaire Boulevard and Homestead Road.
