HORACE LANGFORD JR. / PVT Artist Andrew Sabori, foreground, and assistant Angelique Steffanelli work on a mural panel originally created by Edward Laning (1906-1981). Sabori is working on a 19-panel portrayal of the historical contributions of America's immigrant population -- a reproduction of Laning's "The Role of the Immigrant in the Industrial Development of America." Both his and Stefannelli's ancestors passed through Ellis Island in New York, where Laning's work first appeared, when they arrived in America. See related story.
