Emma Elizabeth Amstutz

Emma Elizabeth Amstutz passed away May 5, 2007.

She was born May 9, 1915, in Paden City, W.V., and was a resident of Pahrump for 26 years, having come from Denver, Colo., where she had lived for 17-1/2 years.

She was a Christian mother, wife, daughter and sister, and a member of First Southern Baptist Church.

She spent time as a volunteer at Mercy Hospital in Baltimore, Md., and was a model for the May Company.

She and husband Eugene were survivors of injustice only by the Grace of God.

Her husband Eugene Amstutz of Pahrump; son Bob Cook of Half-Moon Bay, Calif and his family Robbie of Portland, Ore., and Susan of California.; sisters-in-law Joyce Ann Hess and Betty Clawson of Ashland, Ohio; nieces Doris Dickie and Helen; nephew John Jr. all of Ohio; brothers-in-law Ronald Clawson and Marion Hess both of Ashland survive her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Emma Tagmeyer; sister Katherine and brother Harry Tagmeyer Jr. (05/05/2007)
