AnnJett Switzer will be sentenced this morning, nearly a year after her arrest for exchanging information for drugs while working as a legal secretary at the Nye County District Attorney's office.
Switzer pleaded guilty in April to one count of misconduct of a public officer. The original charges also included possession of a controlled substance and conspiracy to violate the Uniform Controlled Substance Act.
According to the Nye County Sheriff's Office, Switzer's arrangement with local drug traffickers was nearly a year old at the time of her September 2007 arrest.
