The Chicken Ranch in partnership with the Las Vegas Sin City Chamber will host the 4th annual Chicken Ranch Experience on May 3.

A day full of activities will include a golf tournament, a chili cook-off, a bikini beauty contest, a custom hot rod car show, a beer-drinking contest and a carnival.

Over 500 people are expected to attend this colorful event which has grown in size and scope with each passing year. The event is open to the public and activities start at noon.

Tickets are limited and may be purchased in advance through the chamber Web site, www.sincitychamberofcommerce.com.

Chamber officials said past events welcomed about 50 percent in women attendees. A main reason given was a chance to see the workings of a legal brothel.

This "only in Nevada" event includes:

Golf tournament - The SCCC's Chicken Ranch Cup Golf Tournament will be held at Willow Creek Golf Course, beginning with registration at 6 a.m. The tournament features a shotgun start/best ball competition, and prizes will be awarded during a ceremony at the Chicken Ranch at 3 p.m.

Chili Cook-off -- The Sin City District Chili Cook-off is open to anyone who signs up on the chamber Web site and is sanctioned by the International Chili Society. The cooking will begin at 10 a.m. with the judging held at 2 p.m.

Beer-drinking contest -- The Sin City Beer Pong Contest, which will commence at 2 p.m. features one of the fastest growing drinking competitions in the U.S.

Prizes will be awarded at its conclusion.

Bikini beauty contest -- The Sin City Beauty Contest will begin shortly after 3 p.m. by the pool and will feature contestants from among SCCC members, Sin City Caddy Girls and the brothel.

Carnival -- Throughout the gala event, over 25 booths manned by SCCC members will offer a variety of goods and services. Refreshments will also be available.

Commenting on the event, Chicken Ranch Manager Debbie Rivenburgh said it is a pleasure for the brothel to join the Sin City Chamber of Commerce to host it each year at the Chicken Ranch.

"This is a wonderful opportunity for us to interact with the business community and we take great pride in our association with the chamber to make this a truly rewarding experience for everyone who just enjoys having fun and meeting people in such a festive environment," she said.
