BEATTY -- Ira Cotler, of Correctional Finance and Consulting Solutions, was hired by Nye County commissioners last week to prepare options on constructing a Pahrump jail.

Even though Terrible's Casino announced it would not be opening a movie theater, there's still a glimmer of hope that Pahrumpians can enjoy a night at the movies without driving all the way to Las Vegas.
