Pop Warner

Pop Warner football is organizing for the 2008 fall season.

The dates are Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Wednesday, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Worden's Farmers Insurance, 2210 E. Commerce Road (just off Highway 160 at Nevada State Bank).

Ages are 5 to 12 years old; players must bring their birth certificates to register.

The cost is $180, payable at the time of registration.

Softball

The PVSA is seeking people who can keep score. Adults are preferred, but anyone who is interested will be trained. Contact Ken Causey at 727-6413 for information.

RCMS golf

LAS VEGAS -- Rosemary Clarke Middle School's golf team competed in a tournament hosted by Faith Lutheran April 10.

Hall of Fame

Nominations are now being accepted for the Pahrump Valley High School Athletic Hall of Fame.

Membership forms are available in the PVHS athletics office; the deadline for submission is May 27.

-- School district employee (administrators, teachers, coaches).

The nomination sheet is to be signed and the date of nomination listed.
