The Tecopa Basin Artists Group will present Jehane Rucquoi: One Woman Show, as an opportunity for the public to view collections of the artist work when the installation opens with a reception 3-5 p.m., April 20, at the TBAG Art Gallery at Tecopa Hot Springs Resort.

Rucquoi was born in Belgium but has lived most of her life in the U.S. mainly the West Coast, with frequent trips to Europe.

She majored in art through undergraduate work in the U.S. and followed it with graduate studies in Florence, Italy.

A teacher in middle schools and colleges, Rucquoi has directed programs in New York and Michigan and created art and music festivals in Pennsylvania. Most recently, she taught at a technical art college in Beijing.

Examples of her work can be seen locally at the Ranch House Inn at China Ranch and Pastel's Bistro in Tecopa, the Crow Bar café in Shoshone and Paymon's Mediterranean Café in Las Vegas.

The TBAG Art Gallery is open 10-4 p.m. daily in Tecopa.
