The Pahrump Valley girls softball team, celebrating a Southern Nevada Class 3-A League victory last week, played a key doubleheader at Las Vegas Faith Lutheran Tuesday; both teams were 6-0 in the league. How the Lady Trojans and their baseball counterparts fared in twin bills at Mesquite Virgin Valley is reported in today's issue. Also in today's edition: the Beatty baseball and fast-pitch softball teams played Central Division games against Pahranagat Valley Alamo and Pahrump Valley hosted the Rotary Invitational Track Championships Friday.
