AT MESQUITE: Trojan golfers test sites for state tourney
Pahrump Valley's boys golf team was in Mesquite Tuesday and Wednesday and will be back there April 16-17 to play courses to be used in the Nevada Class 3-A State Championships May 13 and 14.

70 golfers compete in Farmers tourney
A record 70 players competed Sunday in the second Farmers Cup Adult-Junior Golf Series event of the spring at Mountain Falls, with three teams tying for first place in the boys' 15-18 division.

QUAGGA REMINDER: With the ice melting on northern waters, anglers are preparing their boats for the trip north and the Nevada Department of Wildlife is asking boaters to take the necessary precautions to prevent the spread of quagga mussels from the Colorado River system to other waters.
