JOSH CHASE / SPECIAL TO THE PVT Night racing at Death Valley Raceway in Amargosa Valley will debut Saturday. The pit gates will open at 4 p.m., with spectators admitted at 6. Racing will start at 7 on the third-mile dirt oval. Six divisions -- IMCA modifieds, super stocks, mini stocks, classic coupes, modified minis and Dwarf cars -- will compete. The current points leaders are Ronnie Williams (modifieds), Mark Dillie (Dwarfs), Fred Hardy (bombers), Jonathan Mitchell (factory stocks), Erin Sharron (micro sprints), Mike Lysinger (mini stocks), Dan Snowden (super stocks), Justin Berger (classic oupes), Mark Nustad (modified minis) and Bobby Clark (360 sprints). The racing complex is located a couple miles from the Longstreet Casino-Hotel.
