Nye County Sheriff's Department investigators have gone nationwide to try to get the identity of a girl, estimated to be four to five years old, who is the victim of a heinous assault on a half-hour pornographic video dropped off by a Pahrump man.

Darren Tuck, 26, of Pahrump, was booked on charges of possession of child pornography, after he initially told sheriff's investigator he just found the videotape in the desert, but on subsequent interrogation admitted to having it in his possession for five months, according to detective David Boruchowitz.

The information was telecast on the nationwide show Geraldo Live.

"Since Geraldo aired I've been getting inundated with calls," Boruchowitz said. But he said none of them have translated into leads on the identity of the victim nor her accuser.

The Cable News Network has expressed an interest in the story as well as America's Most Wanted, Boruchuowitz said. Las Vegas television stations ran the photos and the story.

A grainy photograph of the suspect accused in the heinous assault was also distributed to the news media. Boruchowitz said the video shows "anything that can happen" to a young girl.

"We have no idea where the video was made which is why we went national," Boruchowitz said. It may not have even been filmed in the Pahrump area, he said.

Boruchowitz said detectives also have no idea when the movie was filmed. They only guess it was filmed sometime since DVDs became popular in 2005, since there are DVDs pictured in the background of the movie and a more modern-looking television set, he said.

Anyone with information on the identity of either the victim or the assailant is asked to immediately call the Nye County Sheriff's Office at 751-7000.
