Las Vegas Bishop Gorman, Fernley, Yerington, and Pahranagat Valley Alamo are the top-ranked teams in the Pahrump Valley Times Nevada High School football ratings, after Week Four games.

Bishop Gorman leads Class 4-A, with the Gaels at 3-0. Galena is ranked No. 2, with Las Vegas Palo Verde moving up to No. 3. Previous leader Reno McQueen is No. 4.

In Class 3-A, Fernley retained its No. 1 ranking, with defending state champion Mesquite Virgin Valley at No. 2 Overton Moapa Valley is third, and Spring Creek, 55-0 winner against Pahrump Valley, is No. 4.

Yerington is the Class 2-A pacesetter, with the Lions ranked ahead of Pershing County Lovelock. Yerington Rite of Passage, the 2006 state 2-A champion, is No. 3, and at No. 4 is Las Vegas The Meadows.

Alamo, two-time defending playoff champion, tops the Class A eight-man football rankings. Tonopah, which lost to the Panthers in the 2006 state title game, is No. 2, with Las Vegas Mountain View Christian at No. 3 and Carlin No. 4.

Records do not include the results of games played Thursday night. Bishop Gorman is at home Saturday night against Upland, Calif., (1-1).

Alamo is at Carlin and Moapa Valley is at Spring Creek in key games tonight, when Virgin Valley is at home against Winnemucca Lowry.
