Pahrump Valley's volleyball team, after playing only two matches from Sept. 1 through Sept. 15, will be in action four times, from Thursday through Sept. 27.

The Lady Trojans, 8-7 for first-year coach Amy Braach Hart, go to Lake Mead Christian Academy Thursday and are at home against Pahranagat Valley Alamo Friday, before they travel Tuesday to Las Vegas Faith Lutheran for the first Southern Nevada Class 3-A League match of the season.

Pahrump Valley is at home against Lake Mead Sept. 27. The only remaining non-league action after that day is Oct.19-20, when the Trojans travel to El Cajon, Calif., for the Granite Hills Invitational tournament.

Other league dates are Oct. 2, Moapa Valley; Oct. 5, Virgin Valley; Oct. 9, Boulder City; Oct. 12, Faith Lutheran; Oct. 16, at Virgin Valley; Oct. 25, at Boulder City, and Oct. 29, at Moapa Valley.

Pahrump Valley lost 25-17, 25-12, 26-28, 25-15 at Alamo Saturday, despite strong play by middle hitter Kristi Daffer and libero Brittney Lindgren, along with Arlette Scott, Shayna Smith, and Ashley Rencher.
