Pop Warner football teams had their problems facing Las Vegas teams last weekend on the Pahrump Valley High School field.

The Rush lost 41-21 to the Steelers, while the Sharks fell 45-14 and the Trojans were stopped 21-0 by the Chargers.

The Sharks fell to 0-2 as they went up against a speedy Chargers' team.

Joe Koenig scored on a 60-yard run for the Sharks' first touchdown of the season. Quarterback Marc Worden added the point after on a run.

Fullback Tyler Floyd scored on a six-yard run, with Koenig getting the point-after.

Guard Zack Trieb and defensive tackle Jeremy Albertson were lauded for their line play.

Isaak Rodriguez, Lane Busby, Jonathan Hallenback, Jesse Norris, Nick Doubleday, and the rest of the defensive unit did its best to contain a veteran offensive team from Las Vegas.

No details were available on the Trojans' game.
