Ray wins modified-mini mainPVT
Bubba Ray won the modified mini feature at the Pahrump Valley Speedway Saturday, beating Eric Slusher to the checkered flag. Keith Young, John Dearborn, Alex Buckwalter, Rick Gast, Cody Wilde, and Don Wilde completed the lineup for the race, contested on the quarter-mile dirt oval on a warm, humid night. In the mini-stocks, Jason Skinner prevailed in the main, outracing Jonathan Burch for the win. Robert Pearson, Tony Martin, Carl England, Michael Brown, Richard Weseman, Terri Hiser, and Frankie England completed the top eight. Mike Milko won the super stocks feature, with Michael Hildebrand second. Bryan Wulfenstein was third, with Dan Snowden and Jason Hales completing the top five. Jon Petaros, Ron Moffatt, Steve Nash, Jim McCoy, and Tim Doyle were in the top 10. Mark Allison outdueled Jay Rode for the modified victory. Joe Rogers Jr., was third, followed by Eric Shenberger, Joe Porche, and Fred White. Racing returns Saturday night at the speedway, with the first heat at 7:30. Modifieds, super stocks, bombers, and mini stocks will compete. There will be bicycle races for kids at intermission, according to promoter Joe Rogers Jr. |
