Rosemary Clarke Middle School's football teams lost all three games Opening Day on the Sharks' field, on a hot, humid day Saturday.

The A team lost 26-0 to Boulder City, which had won the B contest 34-22, and the C showdown 24-0.

For the A team, debuting under first-year head coach Bret Hart, Cole Blake rushed for 50 yards. Barry Rankin gained 20 rushing and 23 on pass receptions, while Nathaniel Jacobi had 23 yards on the ground.

Quarterback Brandon Murphy was 3-for-7 passing for 41 yards and an interception.

Boulder City's B team scored late to protect a tenuous 26-22 lead. The C team couldn't get any consistent offense generated and lost to a bigger and stronger BC squad.

Rosemary Clarke plays at Overton Moapa Valley Saturday, with games at 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m.
