Pahrump Valley's girls' and boys' soccer teams moved to 2-0 Tuesday, with victories against Boulder City in non-Southern Nevada Class 3-A League matches.

Coach Greg Leseberg's girls got goals from Emily Poertner, Andi Musumeci, and Crystal Lopez to edge the Eagles, 3-1.

Daimon Nelson scored three goals; Alex Fonseca added a goal and an assist, and Omar Roman had a goal, for the Trojans, in their 5-0 win against Boulder City.

Both teams were at home Thursday for non-league games. The girls played Overton Moapa Valley, with the boys hosting Lake Mead Christian Academy, which is in the Southern 3-A league this fall.

Coach Gene Smith's boys go to Las Vegas The Meadows for a non-league game Tuesday; the girls are idle.

The Southern league season starts Thursday, with the boys at home against Moapa Valley and the girls traveling to Overton, to battle the Pirates.
