Overton wildlife area to re-open
Following a long week of cattle wrangling, the Nevada Department of Wildlife will reopen the Overton Wildlife Management Area to hunting and other normal activities Saturday.

ONE BEATTY AREA INCLUDED: Landowner grants designed to save state's at-risk species
"Landowners have new funds to improve their land to share it with at-risk species in Nevada. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service recently announced that the Nevada Department of Wildlife will receive over $849,000 to assist private landowners in conserving at-risk species.
